I really enjoy the relaxing D days it gives us a chance to calm down but it also gives me and Shanyah a chance to do our dance for the talent show in June. We haven't had a lot of time to do it so this is the perfect time to practice and not be disturbed by others. 

Shanyah and i are doing a dance for the talent show in June, although we have a long time i want to finish it early, but ever since i joned the basketball team and other activities we have not been able to finish or add on to the dance. I want to make it more advance my not dancing to the words, but to the beat but its so complicated to do I'm going to ask people to help out and i hope it comes out nicely in the end.

This new dance Ms. Farell is teaching us is really complicated, you miss one day of class and you don't know anything. I had to learn everything while others were just practicing it. Now i have to work twice as hard because i have a pretty big role in the whole dance, but its ok i can handle it. The trickiest part is the second dance that Arya and Abby have to do together we all have to do it in some part of the dance and i still don't get it, but Shanyah probably going to teach it to me.

For extra credit me and some of the other dancers in my class did a math dance. We worked on it for a while but I think the weekend was our enemy. We forgot most of the steps and expo projects got in our way. When it came down to the performance we didn't do as well as we wanted to do but it was good enough.This experience taught me how to work with others even when you know the risk of you failing is pretty high

On Friday Maya and I led the excersies, many of our fellow classmates didn't like it because it mostly consist of stretches. In every past excersies with other leaders all they did were planks and jumping jacks, but I wanted to switch it up. I think maybe i should find something more heart racing, but also more my style.

      I can't wait till they start hip hop again. I've been waiting all year for this because I love the dances Gabe teaches us. Having a connection with dance wave was one of the best decisions the school ever made. I think that the school should keep on doing this even after the 8th graders leave.😢  These dance classes are great ways of preparing kids for how the real art world will be like, it will also teach them how to act in a dance class 

On Thursday Ms. Farrell showed me and Shannyah this beautiful dance that another student shared with her. When you see the connection the man and the women have with each other, you'll be speechless. They are literally #Dance Goals! The jumps they do are amazing, that's what I'm among for, not only to be a better dancer, but to be a better actress. I don't think you really know how to dance until you sell the part.
